September 1–15
September 2026
Smoother lessons, clearer progress, and more ways to practice.
This month at Talkio
In the first half of September, Talkio made course lessons easier to revisit and move through. Learners can replay audio, retry activities, and skip steps, while the translator now works in both directions. The mobile app has a clearer welcome flow, and Learning Hub teachers can follow course progress and review finished activities.
We also worked on the everyday details that make practice dependable. Daily lesson progress is more reliable across messaging and live calls, and teachers can choose when to show course conversations in their library. We keep adding useful learning tools while fixing the points that interrupt a lesson.
For learners
More control over course practice
Replay lesson audio, move through activities more freely, and skip a step when you need to. Your place in the course is easier to pick up again later.
Better feedback when you try again
Course activities now make it easier to retry an answer and understand feedback on your writing.
Translation in both directions
The translator can switch between your two chosen languages, so you can look up a phrase either way.
A clearer start in the mobile app
New learners get a more guided welcome and sign-up experience before their first practice session.
Daily lessons stay on track
Progress in daily lessons is more reliable whether you practice by messaging or in a live call.
For Learning Hub teachers
See how students are doing in courses
Learning Hub teachers can see each student's course progress and review the results of completed activities, with a language filter to find the right group.
Find course conversations when you need them
Teachers can choose to show conversation activities used in courses while browsing the Learning Hub library.
